Saris is the sun of the system in Mystral where this story takes place.
Unlike stars in the real world, Saris cannot produce enough solar energy to support life. Instead it emits some magical energy with its solar energy and life on Korum has evolved to thrive on that mix.
Saris is the Aspect Patron of the Sarisi.
