The Sarisi is an Aspect, or a collection of races, whose Patron is Saris, the sun of the system. Their Patron shows in the high-energy, fiery nature of the Sarisi.

Appearance[edit | edit source]

The most striking feature shared by most members of Sarisi races is their brightly-colored fur, scales, feathers, etc. that most predominately feature yellows, reds, and oranges, as well as warmer hues of other colors. If they have fur or hair it will be more likely to grow in spikey textures, feathers will plume outwards, and horns will follow suit, all seemingly trying to emphasize the striking, fiery appearance of the Sarisi. The Sarisi have high metabolisms and are very energetic, leading them to most often have very lean and athletic bodies. Compared to races of the other aspects, Sarisi are about average in terms of total body mass, but can still be quite tall.

Psychology[edit | edit source]

The usual personality traits of the Sarisi are that they often have fierce, intense attitudes, are usually courageous, and either show their emotions passionately or hide their feelings to seem more courageous. The high-energy of the Sarisi gives them a strong instinctual desire to run, play, or do any kind of physical activity often. Sarisi that aren't able to burn off their energy can become very anxious and fidgety.

Physiology[edit | edit source]

Sarisi have a unique no-upper-limit thermal homeostasis, meaning that their bodies will not try to shed excess heat through sweating or panting, and their health isn't negatively affected by being too hot. Their bodies are even resistant to external burns from fire as well. While physically active, Sarisi produce an extreme amount of heat that can build up to the point that grass smolders beneath their feet and contact with their skin can cause burns for other races.

Magic[edit | edit source]

Not surprisingly, the Adepts of the Sarisi primarily learn abilities to create and control fire, and affect the temperatures of other objects.
