"What's in the Leaky Cave?" is a quest that takes place at and around a small rural village in [Needs location: arid region].

The quest begins with the villager in charge of the farm talking to the player about how it is difficult to keep the farm hydrated as the stream that the village survives on can go dry at times in the summer. He goes on to tell you that some villagers reported seeing water leaking from the mouth of a cave nearby, and that they believe there are quianite crystals (crystals that produce pure water) in the cave. He knows that having some quianite at the village would solve all of their water problems, so he asks if you would go in the cave and retrieve them.

The player goes to the cave, fighting normal cave mobs on the way in, and follows a trail of wet patches leading through the cave until they find the source. You discover that the water is coming from a pale blue crystaling made mostly of mundane quartz but also one chunk of quianite in the center. The crystaling appears to be constantly producing water, and is skittish as you approach. Engaging with the crystaling leads to an encounter that is half fighting and half chasing it down until you finally defeat it. Then, you have the choice of either destroying the crystaling and taking the quianite chunk, or subduing the crystaling and bringing it back to the farm whole.

After that, the player returns to the farm village for their reward. If the player destroyed the crystaling, the quest ends. If the player kept the crystaling whole, a scene plays where the player and the farmers examine the thing and then the village leader asks the player to destroy it there. Another farmer will interrupt and insist that they give the thing a chance and see if it could be friendly. The player has to choose again whether to destroy the crystaling or remove the bindings and see what happens if they let it loose. Again, if the player destroys the crystaling, they get their reward and the quest ends. Otherwise, the crystaling is let loose and surprisingly doesn't run away. It seems to try to interact with the farmer that spoke up for it, and the group says they'll let the thing live at the farm if it behaves.

If the player returns to the farm village later, they will see one of two changes. The village will have a new magically-refilling water reserve if the crystaling was destroyed, or the village will have their little crystaling mascot seeming to enjoy its new life of helping water the plants, hanging out in a big jar to collect its water for the villagers to drink, and sometimes just making wet messes. The villagers give it the name "Leaky."
Crystalings come in various shapes and sizes, most commonly seen around 1 meter tall. They have anthropomorphic shapes made of crystal that was warped into the shapes of a torso, limb parts, and often a mostly spherical head. The parts usually form joints shaped like ball-and-socket joints, though the joints don't touch very much because the parts are magically suspended. The arms of a crystaling usually end in sharp points of denser crystal that are meant for breaking rocks and digging. Some crystalings instead have those rock-breaking parts somewhere else on their body, such as on a horn.

These creatures are made of a variety of different mundane and magical crystals, and require at least some part of them to be magical crystal. They can gain different magical properties based on their magical parts. Some crystalings that have multiple kinds of magical crystals can have properties that interact or conflict, sometimes not for the crystaling's benefit.

Crystalings don't seem to be very intelligent. They have one main drive: to produce more crystalings by gathering enough crystal and then performing a kind-of ritual on the pile of crystals that seems to melt and reform them into the shape of a new crystaling. They are hostile to or fearful of most other creatures they encounter, incapable of cohabitation, with some very rare exceptions. It is possible for magic users through a complex spell to override a crystaling's magical driver and make it serve the magician.

Most crystalings were created by other crystalings, but rarely it has been observed that new crystalings will form without help in places that didn't have crystalings before where crystals are abundant.

The Pool of Purity [AKA names?] is a lake in the [needs placed in the world] region notable for being the largest body of water produced primarily by quianite crystals (also called pure-spring crystals).

The Pool of Purity is located in a place where water wouldn't naturally pool enough to produce a lake of its size, but a large quantity of quianite crystals in one area under constant activation from ground magic have filled the basin up to its shoreline. One of the crystals, called the "Heart of Purity", is the largest known quianite crystal in the world and rests right at the bottom center of the lake. This massive crystal is the reason the crystals are able to produce enough water, as the crystals are usually limited to producing only so much water until the pressure stops water production. The crystals will keep producing water up to the same shoreline, so the lake is impervious to drought or over-exploitation of its waters.

Quianite crystals continually purify the waters of the lake of small particles or algae, leaving it as an incredibly clear pool that is a wonder to behold. Seeing the stars above reflected as crystals shine below and fish swim through what appears like nothing is an awe-inspiring sight. An effect of the purifying magic is that the surface of the pool sparkles blue in the rain or mist.

The lake hosts a rather small but unique and specialized ecosystem as the few species of fish and plants that reside in the waters had to evolve to survive without the nutritious sediment or microorganisms found in normal bodies of water, and need to have an outer shell or membrane made of sturdy-enough material that the purifying magic won't kill the organism. The plants that survive here produce their own necessary nutrients by magical means, making them a rare and sought-after ingredient for alchemy and special diets.

The ruins of several buildings and shrines dot the area around the pool from the people that have settled near the magical pool in the past. The current residents of the area, [need village name], protect the pool and ensure visitors do not disturb it more than necessary, and prevent anyone else from harvesting anything from the pool.

Quianite is a type of magic crystal often called a "pure-spring crystal" thanks to its ability to create pure water in two ways.

Water Creation
When quianite is activated by interaction with outside magic it will produce absolutely pure water around it. In air, the water will seem to form in tiny clouds of vapor being rapidly pulled to a point in the middle where it condenses into liquid water. On average, the quianite can produce a volume of water equal to the crystal's volume in about three seconds. Quianite is very easy to activate with just a small amount of magic passing through it, so it is often activated by natural magic in the wild. Many springs across the world are caused by an abundance of quianite growing in a place where it is being constantly activated. Quianite will not produce water if the crystal is under sufficient pressure depending on the crystal's size, so small to medium crystals can be safely contained by putting them in water-tight containers which will fill up to the crystal's pressure limit.

Purification
Active quianite crystals also continually purify water that they are submerged in of particles and small organisms. Unlike mundane purification methods such as charcoal, the crystals don't absorb the contaminants, but rather cause them to disintegrate into smaller particles until they vanish completely. Settlements will often leave Quianite crystals in their water supply to take advantage of this property. A single gram of quianite that is constantly activated can clean a liter of moderately dirty water in about five minutes; however, if the crystal is only activated as much as it would be naturally in normal conditions, the same water would take about an hour to clean. As a particle of contaminant vanishes from being purified, a small sparkle of blue energy can be seen. Splashing dirty water onto a large pool of quianite-purified water can produce beautiful effects from this.

Other Uses
Skilled adepts can activate quianite to produce other magical effects, most often healing spells or spells to remove diseases, poisons, and curses from a person. Quianite is not as effective at aggressive or defensive magic as normal water crystals are.

Midria (colloquially called crystal trees) is a species of tree native to the crystal forest biomes of Mystral.

Description
Midria tree saplings appear on the outside much like any other young tree, but begin to differ more as they grow.

These trees absorb large amounts of magic throughout their lives and begin to show more similarity to magic crystals in their cellular structure the older they are. Organizing their cell structure to resemble that of crystalized molecules causes old Midria wood to be very hard but also somewhat more brittle than average wood.

Midria that have an uninterrupted source of magic can grow indefinitely. Some specimens are known to be over a millennia old. An average adult Midria tree is about 10 to 20 meters tall, but some of the ancient trees can grow over four times that height.

Midria grow long branches that prefer to be shaped like smooth arcs, and form a canopy that's about 50% wider than the height of the tree. The bark of Midria is lighter and paler in color, and can gain a crystalline sheen as the tree gets older. Eventually, old Midria trees will begin to have actual crystals growing in patches out of the trunk and along the stem. Midria bear leaves that look to be a middle green color and a single spade shape when they are young, but the pinkish energy of the magic will creep into the leaves as they age and eventually turn old leaves into crystals that will dangle from the branches. In late summer to fall these crystal leaves will collide with each other as the wind moves them, making them chime in an almost hypnotic way, giving Midria another nickname of "singing trees."

These trees will bear fruit in late summer that are shaped somewhat like apples, but are made entirely of crystal save for the seeds inside. The fruit is only edible by creatures that can eat crystal, such as the Korumi. The fruit will therefore usually rest in the soil until next spring when it will be split open by the sprouting young tree.

Natural Midria almost always have pink non-aligned energies that show in the color of their aging leaves, fruits, and crystal patches, but can be forced to grow with a different energy and color if the seeds are removed from their fruits and encased in another kind of crystal. A Midria with its energy changed like this will grow to have leaves, fruits, and patches colored like their new energy type. This property is used by some to create a renewable source of a specific kind of crystal, as the fruits and patches can be harvested and used just like normal magic crystals of that type. However, future generations after an energy-hybridized Midria will tend to correct their energies back toward their natural non-aligned pink gradually and can produce unusable, contaminated crystal fruits. Not all crystal energies are compatible with Midria, however. Some energies mixed with Midria can produce something disastrous, like a fire-infused tree that will occasionally burn itself and everything around it.

Habitat
Midria need a temperate environment with some sunlight to thrive, and must grow on soil that is heavily infused with magic. Because of that, Midria trees make up the majority of the trees in crystal forests. There are several regions on the surface of Korum that receive an excess of the planet's magic energy, and these regions are very likely to form into crystal forests. The magic can move over the centuries, causing some regions to lose their ability to sustain crystal forests and causing all of the Midria to die out there.

Midria can sometimes grow outside of these magic energy centers if there is some other phenomenon causing energy to be abundant to the plant. Domesticated Midria can be kept if they are "fed" regularly by grinding crystals and mixing them into the soil, or by an adept expending their magic energy into the tree.
Description
Lamp vines take root where their seeds can find a porous, elevated surface, such as on branches of large trees and giant mushrooms, or where detritus has gathered on tall rocks or tree canopies, and then grow to creep over the whole upward-facing part of the surface. From there, semi-woody vines will grow out and hang downward, sometimes up to 70 meters in length if the structure they're rooted to can support it.

The defining feature of the vine is the glowing globes that grown on their long vines. The globes are made of a transparent membrane filled with a glowing liquid. The liquid quickly loses its luminescent property when exposed to air if the membrane is broken. The purpose of the globes seems to be to help attract insects to the vines' flowers to increase the odds of pollination and seed spreading.

Habitat
Lamp vines need an environment that is damp and shady to survive, with ample elevated surfaces to grow on such as large trees or mushrooms. They are very common in Umiera and somewhat common in other thick forests. Their roots can't penetrate crystalline structures, so they are not able to survive in crystal forest biomes even if the light and moisture requirements are met. These plants are commonly kept as house plants because they are not too difficult to maintain and provide indoor light.
Tapina mushrooms have thick stalks with a somewhat spongey appearance, and relatively small, slightly rounded tops. They grow to be about 45cm tall on average, with stalks that are between 16cm and 21cm in diameter. They are mostly off-white in color, leaning toward yellowish or greenish. The tops are the same hue as the stalk, but just a bit darker.

Tapina Bread
Bread made from tapina mushrooms is a staple food of the people of Umiera, making up about 30% of their diet. Tapina consists of proteins similar to those found in cereal grains that allow it to be used as a grain alternative to make breads. The process of creating breads from tapina is more labor-intensive than using grains, causing the border regions of Umiera sometimes prefer to import grain, but this also seems to give Tapina breadmakers an air of pride in their craft.

The process of creating bread from tapina begins with cutting the stem into cubes and treating that in a bath that kills off molds that commonly infest them that can be poisonous to people or just taste bad, then thoroughly rinsing off the wash in near-boiling water. After that, it is crushed down into a fine paste and let to dry partially. The paste is then worked into a dough, then stretched and folded repeatedly in multiple directions, at least a couple dozen times, until the dough is very difficult to stretch again. After that, the dough can finally be baked. The dough can also be stretched even more with machine help to create noodles, but the process is difficult and time-consuming enough that tapina noodles are treated like a rare delicacy.

Tapina can be made into flatbreads, rolls, or loaves just like grain breads. Compared to traditional bread, tapina bread usually tastes earthier and sometimes a little tangy, and has a consistency that is spongier and with a less-soft texture. Outsiders who did not grow up with this exotic bread often do not prefer it to grain bread.

The Uminites are the people that live in the Umiera region.

Those who have stayed in Umiera for multiple generations seem to have developed a strong resistance to the damaging spores present in the air in Umiera, but many visiting outsiders would say that the spores didn't leave their minds completely unchanged. It is true that the Uminites have some odd behaviors compared to other people, but it's unsure whether that's the effect of long-term spore exposure or just the odd environment that they grow up in. Uminites tend to be unpredictable (though not in the violent way), passionate about odd things, and are overall whimsical.

Their population is made up of over two-thirds Luelli, likely because the race's natural tendency toward being nocturnal makes them more compatible with a region that never receives sunlight. The remaining population is mostly Korum with only a few rare Sarisi because, in contrast to Luelli, they are uncomfortable in regions without sun.

Umanite settlements are often built around a particularly strong platform mushroom on which they will build multiple levels of decks going up the mushroom's stalk. Hanging bridges between decks built on several platform mushrooms that are close to each other are also common. Their buildings are made of conventional materials heavily treated to prevent rot from compromising supports, though some homes are built and intentionally infested with [need name: special building-friendly fungus], a fungus whose roots tend to actually fill in gaps, hold materials together, and prevent damaging fungi from infesting the material.

The Heartdwellers [working name, needs improvement] are a group of Korumi that have decided to dig deep into the planet and leave the surface world behind in order to "live closer to the heart of Korum."

History
The Heartdwellers were established in [needs to be plotted on the timeline. Probably a few centuries before current.] when the influential leader of a Korumi clan named [needs name] swayed most of his clan toward his beliefs about their people belonging in the heart of Korum, deep beneath the surface. He led his clan to leave their surface homes at the town of [name needed] (now a historic ruins site) and build a new home in the deep caverns near their old residence. He then led a project to dig down even deeper and establish their home twice as deep. Meanwhile, at his orders, waves of missionaries were sent to go to other Kroumi settlements to invite them to join in their project. This caused their numbers to double, and would eventually lead to more sects of Heartdwellers to form and dig their own colonies in other parts of the world.

Halfway through the first big dig an earthquake shook the Heartdweller's region and led to a massive collapse of their new home site and a major setback to their progress, but little loss of lives because they hadn't moved their residences there yet. Undeterred, [name of leader from above] and his followers continued the dig and eventually finished the migration of their people to [need name for this city], the first city that the Heartdwellers had cut out themselves. [leader's name] rested only briefly before setting out to dig further so that the next generation could live even deeper, but disaster struck yet again and caused the tunnel and a large portion of their city to cave in, killing hundreds, including [leader's name]. Some surface dwellers tell of that event like a cautionary tale, saying that [leader's name] was punished by a divine force for his hubris and reaching too far below, but the Heartdwellers would banish such stories about their beloved leader in their territory.

In the years after [leader's name]'s death, the Heartdwellers would work feverishly to invent better ways to shore up their tunnels and city. Once they were confident that their future dig projects would be safe, they continued [leader's name]'s vision and dug down to rebuild their city deeper still. They continued digging deeper and wider over the decades, making the deepest city the heart of their civilization, while the "overflow" inhabited some of the older sites and offshoots from the main tunnel line. Some of the other sects of Heartdwellers that weren't too far away managed to cut tunnels leading to the main city to connect their settlements, but some that were too far away slowly lost contact with the main city as it became harder to communicate because of the lengthening trek to the surface and the growing stigma of being on the surface for any length of time. These offshoot sects live to the [leader's name]'s original plan as they interpret it, but thanks to their isolation have warped the ideals somewhat.

As time passed, the Heartdwellers have only become more obsessed with digging deeper and separating themselves from the surface world. Laws discouraging or forbidding visitors from the surface or Heartdwellers leaving to visit the surface were passed, with varying strictness. Then, in [needs to be plotted on the timeline. Somewhere around a century before current, maybe.], the people of the main group of Heartdwellers decided to block any possibility of intruders from the surface by building a mighty wall and then causing an intentional cave-in in front of it, preventing anyone from going any further than the abandoned ruins of [name of the first city they cut from above]. The tunnels between the main tunnel of the Heartdwellers and the other sects still remain, but are heavily guarded with multiple layers of fortification. Some of the other sects still allow visitors under rare circumstances, but the main cities of the original Heartdwellers are unreachable by any outsiders, perhaps ever again.

Beliefs
The belief system of the Heartdwellers is based in Domunalism whose followers believe that each Aspect Patron of the Celesti is the true home of the people of that Aspect and that the Sarisi and Luelli living on Korum are displaced. However, the Heartdwellers go a step further and say that the Korumi's true home isn't at the surface of Korum, but deep inside at its "heart". They believe that there is a beautiful, glittering paradise made of pure crystal there where all of the "True Korumi" live. Therefore, they believe they have to dig further and re-build their settlements and cities further down, making a point of doing so once every generation.

Although it was not in their original doctrine, more recent Heartdwellers have adapted the idea that the surface of Korum is corruptive and that this explains why the surface Korumi are covered in fur while the Heartdwellers are beginning to become more and more crystalline the deeper they go. Because of this, they treat surface dwellers with great disdain or are even outright hostile to them, and most refuse to go to the surface for any reason. Those of the Heartdwellers that are exposed to the surface are treated like second-class people within their society. A person's status in their society is partially determined by how "pure" they are, based on the number of years their bloodline goes back without any surface-dwelling relatives.

Most of the Heartdwellers of current time also believe their founder, [needs name], was more of a supernatural messiah. They believe he could speak to the True Korumi residing in the heart or to Korum themself, and that he could see the future and the path that their people had to take to rejoin the True Korumi in the heart. Some people believe he was actually a True Korumi who voluntarily subjected himself to corruption in order to bring his surface-dwelling kin back to their intended home. No evidence exists to any of these claims.

Physiology Changes
As the Heartdwellers live further and further below ground, their forms become more different from the surface-dwelling Korumi. Crystals of varying kinds visually grow from their bodies, especially at their fingertips, joints, shoulders, backs, and horns. Many of the more pure Heartdwellers seem to have eyes made completely out of luminous crystal. A majority of the crystals on an individual Heartdweller's body are usually of the same one or two types of crystal, and many Heartdwellers have special powers matching their primary crystal type. Heartdwellers take pride in their crystal parts and dress in ways that show and accentuate them. A person's crystal type is also a factor in the level of status they can attain.

The trophid moth is a type of large moth with a distinctive mane of long, fluffy hair.
Adolescents
Trophid moth caterpillars are sometimes colloquially called "flufferpillars" or "flying fluff balls". They share the fluffy manes of their adult counterparts across their entire backs.
These caterpillars seem to have magical gravity-defying powers, and they use them to jump from place to place. Their jumping is not too strong, so they can be seen floating somewhat slowly to their destinations. If a trophid caterpillar is interrupted mid-flight they will end up floating about aimlessly until they finally come into contact with another surface.
Not surprisingly, the cocoons that these caterpillars form when transitioning to adult are also quite fluffy.

Adults
Trophid moths are famous for their long, furry mane. The mane of the adult trophid moths form a fluffy ring around their collar, as well as covering their back. These strands of fur seem to be quite hydrophobic and a hostile environment for fungus spores, which is important for the regions they thrive in.
These moths uniquely have a tin tail at the end of their torso that leads to what is commonly called their "pom-pom", a piece of body that is also covered long fluff.
Adult trophid moths, measured from the tip of the head to the end of the tail commonly range in size from 36cm to 50cm, but have sometimes been seen as large as 75cm. Their wing span is about 30% greater than that.
They retain some of the gravity-defying properties of their caterpillar form, though much weaker. Because of this, they appear to fly very gracefully with minimal flapping.

Habitat
Trophid moths are common in the region of Umiera but can be found in other areas of deep forest in fewer numbers. They prefer an environment that stays dark most of the time and has abundant fungi.

Atrikite, known more commonly as blade crystal, is a naturally-occurring mundane crystal that forms with a flat rhombus shape on its horizontal cross-section, like a double-edged sword.

This crystal commonly grows where you can find other crystals, most often on the surface, and can present a serious danger to travelers that don't watch their step. Falling into an atrakite outcropping can easily be fatal.

Pure, unspoiled atrikite has an opaque white coloration, but it tends to take in small amounts of the elements of other crystals nearby as it grows and tints toward their coloration, making it harder to differentiate between them at a glance and thus makes them yet more dangerous to travelers. However, those impurities from absorbing other elements can give some atrikite crystals special properties depending on the element absorbed.

For obvious reasons, this crystal is collected and used widely as common knives. However, the crystal is quite brittle so it can't be used in its raw form for cutting harder or tougher materials, and trying to use a raw atrikite sword in combat will most likely end with your sword being shattered. Several methods exist for making the crystal more durable, most involving heating the crystal to near its melting point and treating it with carbon or other powdered crystals suspended in a mixture. Atrikite weapons treated this way can be as durable as steel, but keep an edge much, much better than steel.
Reapers are not hostile under normal conditions, and people are advised to keep their distance from them and let them wander in peace. Rarely they can be seen wandering in dark places in the wilderness, but more often they are seen when a deceased Mystralan has not been given a proper life-end ritual. The reaper will try to reach the body and react with hostility to anything standing in its way, then will extract the Core of the deceased. Most cultures believe the reapers are a necessary part of the mortal cycle and that interfering with them is immoral.

Appearance
Among the three Aspects of Mystral, the Luelli have on average the smallest and lightest bodies. Some races of the Luelli are very small, while others can still appear about as large as their Sarisi counterparts, though only because their long and fluffy fur, feathers, or fins exaggerate their size. For those that have tails, hair, whiskers, horns, wings or similar extras, those extras will be quite long and flowy, and can seem to be floating off of them. Their base coat/hide colors are usually white, gray, or very, very muted and pale colors, but the boring base is usually contrasted by bright or dark markings that contrast strikingly with their base. At night, especially when Luelle is shining brightly or if the individual is an Adept, a Luelli will glow softly.

Psychology
It is very difficult to judge what a Luelli individual is like before you get to know them. Some are quite carefree, playful, or distant and mysterious. Some can be very skittish thanks to their size.

Physiology
Much the opposite of how Korumi are more dense and massive than they appear, the Luelli are very, very light. This can make them seem fragile and weak, but every Luelli has the ability to change forces that are affecting them or that they're trying to impart on something else. This happens automatically for them, letting them to sink to the ground when they want to walk, fall more slowly, and add more impact to strikes so that their light bodies can hit with comparable force to a person of normal weight. Luelli are semi-nocturnal, with slightly larger eyes that can see very well at night.

Magic
Adepts of the Luelli are able to extend their automatic force-affecting abilities and use them to affect things other than themselves, such as drawing in or throwing objects or opponents, and floating around indefinitely.

The Seyuri is an Aspect that exists in the mythology of Mystral, with the star Seya as their Patron.

The theorized properties of the Seyuri vary by the different cultures that believe in them. One theory is that they must be similar to the Luelli because Seya and the other stars are only visible at night, just like Luelle. Another theory suggests that Seya is a sun like Saris, but just very far away, so the Seyuri must be like the Sarisi. Amongst both of these ideas it is still debated on whether they live on Seya or on a planet near Seya.

A third theory based on supposed prophetical visions and dreams throughout the ages instead paints the Seyuri as an Aspect of very powerful magic users, perhaps even gods, that shine so brightly that it is difficult to look upon them. Those prophets claim that the Seyuri have visited Korum in the past in its time of greatest need, and will visit again. One prophet painted the image they saw of a Seyuri, depicting a glowing pink figure with crystals floating above it like a crown and more crystals floating behind to form something like wings, with projections of arcane circles and wisps of cosmic magic flowing behind.

Followers of Seddeiism believe that the powerful Seyuri that prophets saw was in fact the avatar of the single goddess, Seya.

There is no physical evidence to be found of Seyuri ever existing.

The Korumi is an Aspect, or a collection of races, whose Patron is Korum, the planet that supports all known life in Mystral.

Appearance
You can quickly tell a Korumi apart from a member of the other aspects by their sheer size. The Korumi tower over most other people of Mystral; though very rarely members of the Sarisi can beat the height of some Korumi, they will never match their mass. Korumi base coat/hide colors are usually browns, tans, grays, and sometimes greens. Their fur or other coverings are often shorter and don't do much to hide the shapes of the body beneath. The earthy colors and rugged patterns of the Korumi often give them some resemblance to boulders or other features of the terrain of Korum.

Psychology
Personality-wise the Korumi are usually very cool-headed and calm, especially as they age, though some can have very touchy tempers. A Korumi enraged is truly a force to be feared. A Korumi that makes it to their twilight years almost always has a wizened, sage-like air to them.

Physiology
The Korumi are visibly very large, but their true mass is greater than you could surmise from their appearance. Their bodies seem to be made of very dense structures that add to their mass, making them weigh perhaps 50% more than an equal volume of other creatures' bodies. Add to that that all Korumi have some innate magical ability to alter their mass further, and you can see how they can seem to be immovable objects when they want to be. All Korumi have very strong muscles to support their weight, even if their lifestyle caused those muscles to be hidden under fat.
A portion of the Korumi known as the Heartdwellers have a physiology that has changed due to living deep underground, causing crystals to grow on their bodies and other changes.
Magic
All Korumi have some ability to change their own mass with magic, but the Adepts of the Korumi are able to push that further and focus it to make strikes and slams much more painful, among other things. Korumi Adepts also have some influence on the earth and can create earthquakes, shockwaves, rock spikes, or cover themselves in rock armor.
Additionally, all Korumi are able to eat magical crystals to take the magic into themselves and enhance themselves in some way temporarily.

The Sarisi is an Aspect, or a collection of races, whose Patron is Saris, the sun of the system. Their Patron shows in the high-energy, fiery nature of the Sarisi.

Appearance
The most striking feature shared by most members of Sarisi races is their brightly-colored fur, scales, feathers, etc. that most predominately feature yellows, reds, and oranges, as well as warmer hues of other colors. If they have fur or hair it will be more likely to grow in spikey textures, feathers will plume outwards, and horns will follow suit, all seemingly trying to emphasize the striking, fiery appearance of the Sarisi. The Sarisi have high metabolisms and are very energetic, leading them to most often have very lean and athletic bodies. Compared to races of the other aspects, Sarisi are about average in terms of total body mass, but can still be quite tall.

Psychology
The usual personality traits of the Sarisi are that they often have fierce, intense attitudes, are usually courageous, and either show their emotions passionately or hide their feelings to seem more courageous. The high-energy of the Sarisi gives them a strong instinctual desire to run, play, or do any kind of physical activity often. Sarisi that aren't able to burn off their energy can become very anxious and fidgety.

Physiology
Sarisi have a unique no-upper-limit thermal homeostasis, meaning that their bodies will not try to shed excess heat through sweating or panting, and their health isn't negatively affected by being too hot. Their bodies are even resistant to external burns from fire as well. While physically active, Sarisi produce an extreme amount of heat that can build up to the point that grass smolders beneath their feet and contact with their skin can cause burns for other races.

Magic
Not surprisingly, the Adepts of the Sarisi primarily learn abilities to create and control fire, and affect the temperatures of other objects.
